We are a fresh expression of Salvation Army ministry in Shetland and we are looking to working with the community especially in Cunningsburgh, and surrounding communities. One of the Salvation Army's mission statements is 'heart to God, hand to man'. We are in the community to get to know people, get involved and to be and show God's love to all those who we come into contact. Please do contact us if we can be of any help at all.
The community polytunnel project in Cunningsburgh is evolving and growing all the time. We now have 3 tunnels. one for growing and the produce we grow goes into our honesty shed for people to take and use. The second tunnel is there to provide a place to relax with coffee, tea biscuits etc provided and there is also a toilet in there. In the third tunnel we have created a soft play area which is open to families especially those with toddlers. We really do appreciate all the financial support we receive. Thank you very much and please do call in to see the project any time.
