The Music and Creative Arts team exists to support and empower corps and centres in using music and creative arts in ministry and mission.

  • Andrew Dickinson


    Birmingham Region

    His enthusiasm and determination will be enough to help you with any Music & Creative Arts programme. Just make sure you’re not taller than him because you’ll scare him off. Andrew attends Birmingham Citadel, loves watching cricket and enjoys listening to brass bands.

    Alex Gibson

    Bishop's Stortford Region

    Alex grew up at Norwich Citadel and owes the corps a lot for his love of music and all things creative. Alex studied music at the Royal Northern College of Music. During his time there he enjoyed playing with musical outfits such as Black Dyke Band.

    Leeds Region

    Find yourself short for words? Stephen is not. He’s a master of conversation. The 15 years Stephen has spent in America, coupled with his Geordie spirit, provides a boundless amount of enthusiasm waiting to be tapped into. Stephen attends Bedlington Corps.

    Newport Region

    Dean’s touch of flair and creative instincts make Dean a useful man to have around. He’s focused on the message of the Gospel and he’s ready to help you focus on it too. Dean attends Reading Lower Earley Salvation Army.

    Scotland & Ireland Region

    Smile! Bobby is our resident photographer. Bobby is the only specialist with a form of transport not owned by the fleet. Bobby attends Cumbernauld Corps. He has a love for the brass band and classical music.

    Warrington Region 

    Dan’s role model is Quincy Jones, which in itself speaks volumes about his personality. Dan doesn’t confine his skills to one corner of his work and has a passion for using Music & Creative Arts as a form of community outreach. Dan attends Liverpool Walton corps.

    West Malling Region  

    Ira really needs little introduction. Her infectious laugh is easily distinguishable. With Music & Creative Arts running through her veins, she’s committed to finding and using new people for God’s work. Ira attends Sutton Salvation Army Church in South London.
