Dr Stephen Cobb is responsible for developing the overall strategy for the MACA team. Stephen is a soldier at Hendon Corps and serves as the bandmaster. He also holds the baton of the International Staff Band. Stephen has a passion for the development of young musicians within the Salvation Army, and encouraging the next generation of young Salvationist musicians across the territory.
Paul is responsible for affirming, encouraging and developing MACA groups within some of the more traditional aspects of Salvation Army music making, with a special emphasis on brass and vocal groups, as well as supporting the director in the Territorial response to MACA. Paul was a member of the International Staff Band and currently serves as Bandmaster of the Regent Hall corps band.
Stephanie is responsible for developing creatives arts across the territory, and loves to encourage, support and resource young leaders in dance, drama and singing. Stephanie is also passionate about creating opportunities for young people to develop and showcase their faith through performance.
Stephanie would love to hear from you and share with you new drama sketches, dance routines and other forms of creative ministry.
Nik is responsible for affirming, encouraging and developing MACA groups outside the traditional reams within The Salvation Army with a special emphasis on worship teams as well as supporting the director in the Territorial response to MACA. He has been part of the Music and Creative Arts team for 3 years and before a member of the Music Ministries Unit for 6 years and is passionate about seeing people connect to God through worship
Andrew is a soldier of Birmingham Citadel where, with his wife Rebekka, where he plays in the band. He has had the privilege of serving in The International Staff Band since 2008. Whilst brass is his main passion, Andrew loves nothing more than seeing different expressions of faith being showcased. To encourage and support is the best part of his role, and Andrew wants to help promote all avenues of Music and Creative Arts Ministry.
Bobby is a soldier at Cumbernauld Corps in West Scotland Division where he is the corps and songster pianist and plays in the band. He has been part of the Music and Creative Arts team for 3 years and is passionate about supporting local leaders and developing contemporary worship opportunities across Scotland & Ireland.
He loves visiting and supporting local corps rehearsals and is always willing to come along and join in or lead a rehearsal – if you would like him to come along, just ask!

Dan is a soldier at Liverpool Walton corps, where he plays in the band and contemporary worship team. He has been part of the MACA team for 3 years, working on a number of territorial resources and working with local leaders across his region.
Not only is Dan an adaptable musician, but he also brings a variety of skills that he is always happy to share in any practical way he can to support local use of Music and Creative Arts to spread the message of God’s love.
Ira has been working in Music and Creative Arts ministry for many years and presently enjoys working locally in the West Malling Region. She is part of the Leadership team at Sutton Corps where she leads the choir, plays in the Band and is part of the Worship team. She is passionate about working in various settings, particularly supporting, encouraging and training new leaders. She is always more than willing to lead worship, meetings and services, support Corps programme and enjoys sharing new ideas, resources and of course, her faith.
Stephen has spent his entire career working for the Salvation Army in music and the creative arts, initially in the USA and now in his home region of the north of England. Stephen would love to come and support your local MACA ministry, he enjoys visiting corps and seeing the wide diversity of programme and personalities who are actively participating. Stephen is an active member of the Bedlington Corps where he was born and bred!
Dean is a soldier at Maidenhead Citadel in Berkshire where he serves within the Senior Band and Worship Team.
Having been part of the previous Music Ministries Unit since 2001, Dean has built a wide range of skills and experience. Passionate about people finding their gifts and exploring God through creativity, Dean has drive and vision to help people achieve missional goals.
