Now more than ever we need to stand together to stop modern slavery.

Thousands of modern slavery victims are hidden in plain sight in towns and cities across the UK. We need your help to find them and get them the support they need to re-build their lives.

Graphic highlighting exploitation in the UK. Main text reads: '120,000 People trapped in exploitation across the UK', with '120,000 People' in large red font and the rest in black. Below is the hashtag '#AntiSlaveryDay' and the date '18th October 2025'. The Salvation Army logo appears on the right. At the bottom, there are black and white barcode-like lines.

People are being held in modern slavery right now in every community across the UK. Many are being silenced by fear, overlooked or unaware that support exists - trapped in exploitation, unseen and unable to reach help. We must listen to victims and survivors and empower them, not the criminals, who exploit them for profit. We can all play our part in helping these vulnerable people escape and find protection and support.

How we help

Every year thousands of men and women are referred to us and our partners to receive life-changing practical and emotional support as they begin to heal from the trauma of their experiences.

We operate a 24/7, confidential referral helpline 0800 808 3733 for anyone who suspects that they or someone they have come across may be a victim of modern slavery and in need of help.

Through generous public donations, our Survivor Support Fund provides vital additional support to help survivors of slavery move on with their lives.

4. Buy a temporary tattoo

By purchasing a tattoo you will be joining us to help us raise awareness and essential funds towards our work supporting survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery. Each tattoo can be bought online for £1
