Now more than ever we need to stand together to stop modern slavery.
Thousands of modern slavery victims are hidden in plain sight in towns and cities across the UK. We need your help to find them and get them the support they need to re-build their lives.

We are concerned that recent changes in the law could make it harder to break the cycle of exploitation and push victims back into the hands of traffickers. We can all play our part in helping these vulnerable people escape and find protection and support.
It’s estimated that for every survivor of modern slavery in the UK who has had the chance to escape and receive support, there are at least seven more people who remain trapped and exploited.
How you can show your support
1. Spot the signs
Learn to spot the signs of modern slavery and report when you see something suspicious. Some signs are physical, but some are much less obvious. Educate yourself and others on the signs to look out for.
2. Write to your MP
Join us in calling for the Government to restore the rights of survivors so they get the help they need.
3. Donate to the survivor support fund
Every year thousands of men and women are referred to us and our partners to receive life-changing practical and emotional support as they begin to heal from the trauma of their experiences. We operate a 24/7, confidential referral helpline 0800 808 3733 for anyone who suspects that they or someone they have come across may be a victim of modern slavery and in need of help.
Through generous public donations, our Survivor Support Fund provides vital additional support to help survivors of slavery move on with their lives.
4. Share a post on social media
To join our campaign and spread the word you can download a graphic below and share it online with the hashtag #WeAreNotForSale on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and tag The Salvation Army UK.
