The Salvation Army works with some of the most vulnerable people in the community. 

From food distribution and checking up on people who live alone, to supporting people who are homeless, offering pastoral care and supporting people in all areas of their lives, to responding to emergencies; Winton Salvation Army is responding to peoples needs in many different ways.

10.30am - 12 noon Morning Worship 

Including specific activities for children and youth and a monthly family service

Messy Church - Family friendly time to enjoy being together, making things, sharing food and celebrating God - 4pm - 6pm on the first Sunday in the month - Please call 01202 517989 to book a place.

10am-2pm Foot Care for a donation of around £4 (Phone 01202 517989 to book)

1pm-3pm  Activate (This friendly group gets together to play board games, do crafts or just chat. £1 per session)

4pm Foot care/Shower for those without a home 

5:30pm-6pm  Meals for those without a home

6:15pm-7pm Singing company practice (Children's choir)

7:05pm-8pm Worship group practice

7-9pm Nifty Knitters -Fortnightly (All abilities welcome. Or come and learn to knit. 50p per session)

Tuesday

War Cry Outreach in Bournemouth Town Centre (Morning)

9am-1pm Hairdresser (Appointments 07854390536)

1-2.30pm Sensory Stay and Play (A small group stay and play with sensory opportunities. For birth to school age.£1.50 per session)

1:30-3pm Home League (There is usually a talk, demonstration or quiz each week and we have a chat over a cup of tea. £3.50 per month)

4:45-5.45pm Rainbows (4-7 years)

6-7.30pm Brownies (7-10 years)

6:45pm Emmaus Bible Study (In the upper room)

7:30pm Bandstand Programme in Pine Walk Bandstand  (June & July)

6pm Young Peoples Band Practice

10am-2pm Prama Nail Care (Fortnightly-Phone 01202 207308 for queries and dates)

1:30-2.45pm Friendship Group (The Ark- We are entertained each week by a guest speaker or entertainer and have a chat over a cup of tea. £2 per week or £6 per month)

2-4pm Recovery Coffee & Conversation (In the upper room)

6pm - 7pm SWITCH Youth Club (School years 7-11) during term time. 50p per week (First week free)

7pm-8pm ARK Youth Space (School years 9-13) during term time. 50p per week (First week free)

Thursday

9:30am-11.15am Parent & Toddlers (Term Time) £1 per family (First session free)

2-3pm Singing by Heart (Dementia Friendly Singing Group - Monthly) Once a month, everyone welcome.

6:45pm Timbrel Practice

Our Child Contact centre provides a safe, neutral environment where the children of separated families can spend time with their absent parent.

Regular social activities are arranged throughout the year by the Social Committee and advertised on Facebook.

The Community Care Ministries is an active group and support the community in practical ways and with special events arranged throughout the year.

STAR - Steps to Active Recovery Courses are set up and offered at different stages in the year.

Monthly prayer breakfast meeting at 9:30am - usually third Sunday in the month - which includes a light breakfast (Croissants/tea/coffee) followed by prayers - contact Stephen Watts

Winton Salvation Army Hall is a registered Emergency Rest Centre with the Emergency Services and BCP Council.
