We envision a church that is both a welcoming home and a community sent into the world: a place where people are known, loved and restored, and where they are equipped to live as disciples of Jesus in their homes, workplaces, schools and neighbourhoods.
We seek to be attentive to God, present with one another and open to those beyond our existing community. We will listen carefully to people’s stories, respond to real needs with humility and serve others without discrimination. We will share the good news of Jesus Christ naturally and courageously, bearing witness to his love through faithful relationships, practical service and honest conversation.
We will nurture disciples who follow Jesus in every area of life. We will encourage one another to grow through prayer, Scripture, worship and service, and to recognise that each person is called and sent by God. We will care for creation, seek justice and reconciliation, and stand alongside those who experience exclusion, hardship or injustice.
We will build an intercultural and intergenerational community in which people of different languages, cultures and backgrounds share belonging, leadership and responsibility. We will value each person’s gifts, experience and voice, helping those who first receive care to become contributors, disciples and leaders who serve others.
We will pursue lasting relationships rather than quick results, faithful obedience rather than impressive activity, and shared leadership rather than dependence on a few individuals. Guided by prayer and Scripture, we will continue to discern where God is already at work, learn from both success and failure, and take the next small and faithful step.
Our vision is to become a Christ-centred community that gathers to be renewed, grows as disciples, goes out to serve and bears witness to the hope of Jesus Christ. Through the way we live together, care for creation, seek justice and reconciliation, and love our neighbours, we long to reflect the transforming grace of God in the world.
