Short-term projects and online roles
Search nowThe Salvation Army has a number of short-term projects and online within its programmes, a few of which require particular skills, but these are highlighted in the role description.
For example, we are looking for Facebook Champions to help cheer on our fabulous fundraisers, there is a project to support our corporate volunteering and, if your time is limited, a chance to get involved for a few hours as an event volunteer at our Together22 event in Birmingham (16-17 July). In addition, our archive department is starting a very exciting project to transcribe the diaries of Florence Booth one of our founders and is looking for people interested in archives and skilled in historical transcribing.

These are just a few of the exciting roles we have available – many of which are able to be performed remotely and therefore not restricting the role to location or availability. The roles may suit students, employees who have corporate volunteering hours to use or individuals who would like to use their skills to make a difference. Please keep checking back as the roles keep changing.
