Unfortunately, we are unable to collect donations.
Thank you for your understanding.
The Salvation Army in Gorse Hill work very closely with the National Literacy Trust Swindon. To celebrate this and to promote literacy in young children we are offering every family who visit our shop with a child on a Saturday or during the school holidays a free children's book (one per family ). This will be subject to supplies.
We promote reading as a family and making story time fun.
"If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales." Albert Einstein
"The more you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go" Dr Seuss
