Stroud

Church

Stroud Salvation Army is a community of people who love Jesus and want to serve our local community. We base our work in our three core values: hope, healing, and hospitality. We are committed to continually developing our practice and offering innovative and relevant projects to support our community and anyone who asks for help. We seek to create a place of safety where everyone can grow, thrive, and find healing for the wounds in their life through finding fellowship and faith.

We are a member of The Salvation Army Core Recovery Network. We believe that everyone has experienced times of brokenness in their lives and have things to recover from. Everyone is welome as they are, but no one has to stay as they are. Everyone can find healing and transformation.

We have been recognised as a 'safe church' by the RestoredUK network following a year of training in supporting people who have or are experiencing domestic violence and abuse. Our volunteers and leadership team are able to support people in need, signpost them to the best local agencies to support them, and we offer worship and Bible teaching that recognises the need to resist the tendency towards abuse in our society.

We are always looking for new volunteers. If you are interested then please get in touch. We also want to support local community initiatives which are in line with our values. If you have an idea of something you want to do please get in touch.
