Newcastle City Temple
Serving the Community in Christ's Name
Newcastle City Temple Corps is a Salvation Army Church that aims to share the message of God’s love in Jesus Christ throughout the City of Newcastle Upon Tyne, to encourage believers of all ages to deepen their understanding of God, and to work for the wider community.
Our new hall opened in November 2022, and a warm welcome is extended to all to join in worship at 11am on each Sunday
Newcastle City Temple has a strong reputation for supporting Students who worship with us whilst at University and who are welcome to join in with activities arranged for our Youth Fellowship.
During our Sunday morning worship any children present, aged 5 to 12 years, are invited to join members of our Sunday School for their weekly classes. We also run a Creche for younger children.
You can find updates on our regular program, activities and details of special events on our Facebook Page:

All welcome to come along as we take a nostalgic journey back to our school days, and belt out some School Assembly Classic Songs, before enjoying a typical School Dinner together.
Although the wearing of some form of 'School Uniform' is optional... why not channel your inner St Trinians or Grange Hill pupil by pulling on your short pants or skirts, wearing your shirt half tucked in, knot your tie, paint on the freckles, tie your hair in bunches and join in the fun whilst supporting a worthwhile cause... but don't be late, or you may end up having to write lines or face being held back in detention!
Tickets can be purchased from the hall, priced £10 or via TicketSource (where a small processing fee will apply) by following this link.

BE A STAR - Newcastle City Temple Christmas Gift Appeal 2026
Could you help us make Christmas special for those who may have little or nothing under the tree on Christmas morning?
Why not choose a gift from our 'BE A STAR!' Christmas Gift Appeal 2026 AMAZON GIFT LIST and have it delivered directly to us. Or bring a gift along to our special Toy Service to be held on the 29th November at 11am. Gifts may also be dropped off at the hall during the week by arrangement.
We believe every child deserves to receive only new age appropriate toys and gifts at Christmas time, therefore we would kindly ask that only new unwrapped gifts are donated. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
Praying every blessing upon you this Christmastime and always.
Major Liz Hancock.
