Help support people who are homeless

Can you imagine having no home to go to this evening?

Every day, The Salvation Army helps people who have found themselves in this very situation. Across our outreach, drop-ins and residential centres for people who are homeless (Lifehouses), staff and volunteers are working tirelessly to support those who have no place to call home.

At The Salvation Army in Chalk Farm for example, their weekly drop-in service, offers hot food and drinks, shower facilities and impartial advice, as well as clothing and sleeping bags to those in real need.

While many services were forced to close during the pandemic, this service has remained open and ultimately been a lifeline for people experiencing homelessness.

It is more than our practical support that makes a difference to people’s lives, it is the friendly face that our staff and volunteers provide.

Please donate today towards our work helping people who are homeless.
