More than just a meal: supporting people through hardship
Food poverty affects people from all walks of life. For families, it can mean difficult choices between food and other essentials. For people experiencing homelessness, it can mean facing each day without knowing where their next meal will come from.
At Barking Salvation Army, hot meals and practical support are helping people through some of life's toughest moments. Demand for the service continues to grow, with more than 120 people now relying on it each week.
In this short film, hear from the people who use the service and discover how something as simple as a hot meal can provide dignity, connection and hope when it's needed most.
If you would like to make a donation to help ensure no one faces hunger alone, it would be gratefully received.
