London’s longest running ethical Christmas market is back on Oxford Street

Fair Christmas Fayre, now in its tenth year, will take place on Saturday 9th December at Regent Hall Salvation Army.

The Fayre will include unique stalls selling eco-friendly, Fair Trade, upcycled, recycled and charity gifts as well as fashion. Fair Christmas Fayre gives shoppers a chance to create a Christmas for themselves that is fair for the world’s poorest people and the planet.

Fair Christmas Fayre is being held on a popular Saturday for Christmas shoppers at The Salvation Army on Oxford Street, just a few metres west of Oxford Circus. The Fayre is open from 11am-6pm and provides an ethical alternative to high street shopping in the run up to Christmas.

Amongst the products on sale from ethical suppliers and producers will be a range of organic fashion items, contemporary jewellery and vegan friendly knitwear.

A spokesperson from The Salvation Army's International Project's Office, said:

“We are delighted to be organising Fair Christmas Fayre this year, once again bringing together a rich variety of ethical traders selling eco-friendly, Fair Trade and recycled gifts and fashion. The Fayre is a great opportunity for shoppers to buy some high quality Christmas goodies, whilst also making a difference to the lives of others.”
