Compelled by love for God, for ourselves and for others
Compelled by love for God: Because of God’s great love for us, everything we are and everything we do must be as an act of worship to Him.
Compelled by love for ourselves: We strive to grow and develop as disciples of Jesus Christ because of the love and value he has placed upon us, and so we are best placed to serve him.
Compelled by love for others: We commit to serve our community and by doing so, through the working of the Holy Spirit, bring them into a saving relationship with Jesus.
The biblical basis for this mission statement is:
‘Christ’s love has moved me to such extremes. His love has the first and last word in everything we do.’ 2 Corinthians 5:14 (MSG)
