Deptford Soul Community

Soul Community is an expression of the Salvation Army in Deptford. We are reimagining community through listening, sharing stories, and being present with the community. We celebrate people as they are, valuing diverse voices and experiences. Honouring the Salvation Army’s pioneering roots, we offer a genuine welcome and share Christian faith creatively, in ways that connect with local life and culture. By creating spaces where everyone can belong and explore spirituality without pressure, we aim to be part of Deptford’s flourishing.

We organise the Walking Meditation, the Deptford Community Choir, and Stories of Hope - creating spaces for reflection, expression, and connection.
