Virtual Response Cycle
Why cycle for #TeamSallyArmy?
The Salvation Army works nationally and in local communities through our 650 churches and community centres throughout the UK and Ireland, to serve those who most need our help. With your kindness and efforts in fundraising, we can continue to provide life changing support to some of the most vulnerable members of our society, offering compassion and practical help without judgement.
Here are some examples of what your support could do:
£20 - could help us keep our food banks stocked and open so we can provide essentials to people in need.
£45 - could provide 1 hour of support work for 5 homeless people in one of our residential centres (Lifehouses).
£114 - could meet the cost of an officer for 3 days so they can distribute takeaway meals and provide support for vulnerable people
What distance is the run?
It's up to you! Choose your distance to cycle – be it 50 miles, 100 miles, 300 miles over a weekend or something else, and set up a JustGiving page so that your family and friends can sponsor you.
All riders will receive a virtual medal and our top 5 fundraisers will receive a #TeamSallyArmy T-shirt*
*There may be a delay in getting this to you
