We believe every child deserves a new gift at Christmas so we are unable to take used or second hand items for the Christmas Present Appeal.

• 0-3 years: dolls, teddy bears, cot mobiles, baby clothes, bath toys, puzzles
• 3-5: dolls and action figures, cars, lorries, colouring sets, pencils, crayons, books, puzzles
• 5-9: educational games & toys, stationery (colouring sets, pencils, crayons, school sets), books, puzzles, wordsearch, crosswords
• 9-12: games and toys, stationery, books, t-shirts, hair accessories, gloves, scarves, hats
• 13-16: books, make-up and toiletries (please try to ensure non-allergic ingredients if possible), gloves, scarves, hats, t-shirts, hair accessories and gift vouchers

Caterham Salvation Army Church assists a growing number of individuals and families across Caterham and District as the cost of living increases affect them, on top of the struggles during COVID19. People need us now more than ever.
 
We provide opportunities to talk through issues, to seek prayer and spiritual support. Practical support is offered through our resources as well as through working together with local organizations such as Caterham Food and Fuel bank, The Westway Centre, Citizens Advice, The Hygiene Bank, Caterham Rotary Club and others to provide help with issues such as debt, benefit applications, fuel and food poverty, relationship issues and much more.

All of this is possible through the generosity of people like yourself. Do help us to be here for others by making a donation here or drop a cheque (made payable to Caterham Salvation Army) off at 92 Banstead Road, Caterham, CR3 5QE.

10.30-11.30am Our Sunday Worship takes place at The Westway Centre, Chaldon Road, Caterham, CTR3 5QE.

Doors open at 10:00am, for a cuppa and the worship is followed by Coffee and Chat.

Our worship is recorded and posted on our Church Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/caterhamcorpssa) and you are welcome to worship this way at a time that suits you if unable to join us in person on a Sunday. 

Our weekly “Let’s Worship” bulletin reflects the topics in our Sunday Meeting and gives details of up and coming events.  The Sunday worship can also be made available on a DVD if you are unable to access Facebook. 12noon to 2.00pm: Caterham Food and Fuel Bank at Oakhall Church, Chaldon Road, Caterham

Tuesday 

10:00 to 11:30am: Crafty Coffee Beans at The Westway Centre, Chaldon Road, Caterham, CR3 5PG

Get together with others to have a cuppa, chat, knit or bring other craft activities with you. A warm space in the winter chill. Takes place on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. £2-50 per session or free to Westway members.  

1:15pm to 2:20pm: Connect with Ailsa at The Westway Centre, Chaldon Road, Caterham, CR3 5PG

A space for all ages, to explore issues in our lives and in the news from a Christian perspective. A chance to make friends, have a chat and think about topics in a different way to much of our media coverage. Each session closes with prayer. A warm space in the winter months it takes place twice a month. Wednesday

8.30 to 9.00am: Caterham Churches Together Prayer Meeting.

Visit local churches across the year as we join together for prayer weekly, in a different church each month. Please email caterham@salvationarmy.org.uk or vicar@chaldonchurch.co.uk - for the locations. Everyone is welcome.

2:00 to 3:00pm: Prayers at Caterham Salvation Army Church.

Join us in The Worship Space, at 92 Banstead Road, Caterham, CR3 5QE, for prayer and reflection around our Holiness Table. Please email caterham@salvationarmy.org.uk or call 01883 330718 for the dates each month. Everyone is welcome.

7:30pm to 10:00pm: Sally Ann's Film Night

We gather monthly at The Westway Centre, Chaldon Road, Caterham, CR3 5QE, to enjoy a good film, friendship and chocolate nibbles! £2-50 per session or free to Westway members.

12 October: Film is "The Book Thief"

9 November: Film is "The Marigold Hotel"

14 December: Film is "The Man who invented Christmas"

18 January 2023: Film is "The Jazz Singer" (Neil Dimond version)

Let's Eat Together

Through the year we gather for lunch, tea or a supper. A great time to meet new folk and make friends while enjoying a meal together.  Please email caterham@salvationarmy.org.uk or call 01883 330718 for the dates and venues. All ages are welcome. Sometimes there may be a cost - e.g. when we have a Pizza or Fish and Chip Supper.
