Our review of 2024

Welcome to the review of The Salvation Army’s work in 2024.

This year, we’ve witnessed incredible transformations, all made possible through the unwavering support of you and many other supporters. Our Annual Review for 2024 reflects the lives changed and the hope restored. In the review, you’ll find stories of individuals whose lives you have helped transform, along with impressive facts and figures that illustrate the depth of our impact.

From providing struggling families with food parcels to bringing people suffering from homelessness in from the cold, The Salvation Army worked tirelessly all year to help whoever came through our doors. This includes Andy, who came to The Salvation Army in a terrible state.

For Andy, it’s been the first step towards getting his life back together. And the good news is that, with our loving care and patient support, Andy’s life is very much on the mend. Andy says:

We have helped him to live a more independent life, by eating properly, managing his money and setting up a bank account. We need your support to give people experiencing homelessness not only shelter, but the support they need to start their lives afresh, including medical help, life skills training and employment advice.

Without you, and people like you, so much of our work simply wouldn’t happen. The review showcases even more successes we have been able to achieve thanks to you generosity — from immediate relief to long-term solutions, addressing not just symptoms but root causes.
