Weekly Activities

Friends and Coffee

During the summer, our Friends Club is opening for as a coffee morning between 9:30am-12pm. Come along for tea or coffee, a slice of cake, a toastier, or a mixture of them all. A great place to come together and make new friends.

Coffee Morning

Our Friday Morning coffee morning is back. Every Friday between 9:30-11:30am come along to have a hot drink, cakes and/or a toastie, and meet friends old and new.

Bible Studies

Every Thursday evening we meet for a Bible Study where we discuss the Bible reading from the previous Sunday Morning. If you would like to come along, get in contact with us - it would be great to see you.

We, also, meet one a fortnight on a Wednesday night for the Upper Room Bible and Prayer Meeting. If you would like to come, please get in contact and we can give you more information.

Clothing Donations

We are unable to take clothing donations at our building on Parchment Street. However we do have a clothing bin in our Car Park, as well as around Winchester City, which are being collected throughout lockdown. Please feel free to use these clothing bins for your clothing donations.

Furniture Donations

We are not able to accept any donations of furniture items. When supporting people in our community we work alongside a Southampton based charity called SCRATCH. The link to their website is: https://www.scratchcharity.co.uk. 

If you would like to give some time to work with us in supporting our community, we do have opportunities to volunteer with us. If you would like to volunteer with us please email Winchester@salvationarmy.org.uk.

Christmas Present Appeal 2021

We are running our Christmas Present Appeal again this year. We are looking forward to being able to support people and families over the Christmas period in this way. Last year, with your support, we gave over 150 presents to individuals and families. With everything that has happened this year, we are expecting a rise in the people we support. 

If you would like to donate gifts to us for our appeal, we are accepting donations of new and unwrapped toys to our building in Parchment Street. More information about where else you are able to donate to for our appeal will be released over the coming months. 

Christmas Day Meals 2021

Our Christmas Day Meal is back this year. Due to COVID we are having 40 people in house and then deliveries of Christmas lunch for others. If you would like to volunteer or be a guest with us please get in contact.
