Whitehaven Toy appeal
The Salvation Army in Whitehaven has for many years worked with local Social Services to supply needy families with both food parcels and toys for Christmas.
However, it is anticipated that due to the cost of living crisis there will be many families in the Whitehaven area who will be suffering some degree of hardship and finding it difficult to provide their children with toys as well as other necessities.
The Salvation Army in Whitehaven are looking to assist such families by providing toys. Therefore, we would ask that members of the public either supply toys and none perishable food items or donations in order that we can purchase toys/gifts/food.
The toys should be new and unwrapped and be for children from babies to those reaching their seventeenth birthday.
