Sally in the Stow

Sally in the Stow is a local charity shop run by Walthamstow Salvation Army Community Church.  Money raised by the shop is used locally to support the work we do within the local community.

Opening times:

Christmas Closing

Our shop will close at 1pm on Saturday 23 December 2023 and will not re-open until Tuesday 2 January 2024

Please DO NOT attempt to make donations during this time as there will be no staff to process them, and under no circumstances should donations be left outside the shop

• Tuesday 9.15am - 4pm
• Wednesday 9.15am - 4pm
• Thursday 9.15am - 4pm
• Friday 9.15am - 4pm
• Saturday 9.15am - 1pm

Donations

We will accept up to four large bags/boxes of donations at a time.  There is no need to book an appointment, just bring them in anytime during shop opening hours.  We would ask, though, that you ensure they are handed to a member of staff, not left inside the door.

We are currently accepting the following items:

• Clothes, shoes, bags and accessories
• Books, CDs, records and DVDs
• Boxed games, boxed puzzles, boxed toys, wooden toys, construction toys (e.g. Lego) and 'V-Tech' style electronic toys in good working condition
• Small electrical items in good working condition
• Furniture (please call David on 07803 452978 or email walthamstow@salvationarmy.org.uk)
• Bric-a-brac/household/kitchen items (we ask that items are washed, free of chips or cracks and in sets of plates/cups/glasses etc., rather than individual items)
