What is our Employer Partnership Pledge?

We are asking employers to pledge to providing work and work opportunities to people facing barriers to employment. In return, we will find and support suitable candidates who want to work with you and help them succeed in their roles.

Our Employer Partnership Pledge, will allow employers to:

  • Gain access to our person-centred job matching service that will provide you with candidates whose skills and personality are screened and matched to meet your staffing requirements.
  • Be provided intensive in work support to help your successful candidates remain successfully employed.
  • Help close skills and employment gaps amongst people facing barriers to work.
  • Evidence your social value to the communities you work in.

Why does the pledge matter?

To employers:

  • It will provide access to a wider pool of candidates, who have been supported and prepared for their roles.
  • It will help with the promotion of jobs, placement, and work experience opportunities.
  • It will raise an organisation’s profile within their local community through engagement with participants and their network.
  • It will suppoer employers with their corporate social responsibility commitments.

For people facing barriers to work:

  • Provides knowledge of employers’ expectations and the behaviours and skills required for placements and jobs.
  • Offers safe environments to regain confidence to be able to demonstrate their skills and experience to establish themselves in the workforce.
  • Raises their future aspirations for independence for themselves and their family, including their social mobility.


To Employment Plus:

  • Provides us with a greater understanding of the changing demands of employers in different sectors and local labour markets.
  • Supports the development of our practitioners and our employability offer, making it relevant to employers and aligning it with the outcomes employers are seeking.
  • Increases opportunities and outcomes for our participants.
