Why run for Team Sally Army?

The Salvation Army offers practical help, friendship and support to some of the most disadvantaged people across our communities, just like we have done for over 150 years. The services we offer are diverse and responsive to the realities of life in the communities we serve, and thanks to the generous support of fundraisers like you, we can continuously reach even more marginalised people and give them a second chance at life.

Here are some examples of what your support could do:

🌼 £17 Could contribute towards a food parcel to feed a desperate, hungry family for a day.

🌼 £45 could provide 1 hour of support work for 5 homeless people in one of our residential centres (Lifehouses).

🌼 £200 could provide baby clothes, equipment including a pushchair for a survivor who has a child born to a mother being supported in a safe house.
