 10:30am Sunday Gathering

Our meetings are informal with inter-generational activities, prayer, sung worship and age-appropriate Bible teaching.

We run mid-week groups for adults on Thursday evenings from 7.45-9.15pm. We like to vary the format between courses, Bible study and special one off events. This usually involves meeting in small groups in homes to learn, reflect, discuss and pray together. Our desire is to know God better and deepen our inner lives.

Please contact for further details of dates and venues.

On Wednesdays we run our Babysong group at 496 Kingston Road, SW20 8DX. It's an opportunity for parents or carers to bond with babies and toddlers (0-3 year-olds) by gently singing and playing together in a guided group session, followed by refreshments. Every Wednesday (in term-time), from 10-11.30am. Cost is £2 per child.

Our family services especially designed to enable families with younger children to learn stories from the bible in a very relaxed informal setting takes place once a month on the fourth Sunday of the month starting at 9am.

Back in the summer of 2015 we were moved by images of refugees seeking sanctuary from war and violence and motivated to put our faith into action. Since then we’ve been involved in variety of responses from sending aid to Athens and Calais, helping to reunite unaccompanied child refugees with their families in the UK and more recently sponsoring a Syrian family through the Community Sponsorship of Refugees scheme. It has been an extraordinary experience as we have embarked on the journey of helping a family to build a new life in the UK. As one of the first community sponsors in the country we are committed to sharing our experience and encouraging others to get involved and have a go themselves.

Take a look at a little of our story here in a video on our YouTube site.

Merton Citizens is a growing movement of people and organisations committed to working together for the common good in the London Borough of Merton. We are founder members, helping to establish the sponsoring group with Citizens UK  in 2016. We are currently involved with the action teams on housing, mental health, living wage and welcoming refugees. Member organisations include churches, schools, mosques and other community groups.
