We believe every child deserves a new gift at Christmas so we are unable to take used or second hand items for the Christmas Present Appeal.
 

• 0-3 years: dolls, teddy bears, cot mobiles, baby clothes, bath toys, puzzles
• 3-5: dolls and action figures, cars, lorries, colouring sets, pencils, crayons, books, puzzles
• 5-9: educational games & toys, stationery (colouring sets, pencils, crayons, school sets), books, puzzles, wordsearch, crosswords
• 9-12: games and toys, stationery, books, t-shirts, hair accessories, gloves, scarves, hats
• 13-16: books, make-up and toiletries (please try to ensure non-allergic ingredients if possible), gloves, scarves, hats, t-shirts, hair accessories and gift vouchers
   

Sunday Meetings are at 10:00 am preceded by a time of prayer at 9:00 am

All are welcome to share in worship with us. The Band, Songsters (choir) and Singing Company (junior choir) take part. The children leave the meeting at 10.45 for Sunday Club.

The meeting is ‘live streamed’ via the Corps Facebook page.

'Messy Church' takes place at 3:00 pm on the first Sunday in the month.  This is not just for children - all are welcome to join in the worship and activities. The next Messy Church will be at 10.00 am on Sunday 7th December as part of our Christingle service.

Upcoming Sundays:

Sunday 30th November - Advent Sunday. A 'thanksgiving lunch' will be held on this day after the morning meeting.

Sunday 7th December - 10:00 am - Messy Church Christingle service and refreshments.

Sunday 14th December - 4:00 pm. Community Carol Service

Sunday 21st December - 6:00 pm. Carol Service by Candlelight.

Christmas Day 25th December - 10:30 am. Christmas morning service followed by lunch for the homeless, lonely and those without family support.

Sunday 28th December - 10:00 am. Morning Meeting.

Unless otherwise listed, all Sunday meetings are led by our Corps Officer, Territorial Envoy Linda Downward.

The Over 60's Club meets each week at 1:00 pm. All are welcome to join for an hour of fun, worship and reflection.

Prior to this, you are invited to share tea and coffee at 11:30 am, and a light lunch at 12:00 noon.

Monday 1st December - music from the Wombridge School choir.

Monday 8th December - Over 60's Carol Service.

Monday 15th December - Over 60's Christmas Lunch.

Closed for Christmas until Monday 12th January 2026.

10:00 am to 12 noon - Coffee Morning. A 'Warm Welcome' is given to anyone who wants to come and enjoy light refreshments and fellowship.

6:30 pm - Singing Company (junior choir) Practice  during term time.

8:00 pm - Band Practice.

10:30 am to 12:00 noon - Weekly Bible Study. All are welcome to share in discussion and reflection of scripture.

7:30 pm - Songster (senior choir) Practice.

No activities currently on Thursdays.

We are delighted to have started a Youth Club. 6:00 to 7:15 pm for children ages 7 to 11. 7:30 to 9:00 pm for older children ages 12 to 15.

There is also a Craft Club on a Friday morning at 9:30 am. All are welcome.

No Saturday activities at present.
