Homes for Ukraine scheme: Salvation Army response

Commissioner Anthony Cotterill, leader of The Salvation Army in the UK and Ireland said:
‘We warmly welcome the UK Humanitarian Sponsorship scheme. It is urgently needed to help people fleeing war and destruction in Ukraine.
‘The Salvation Army in the UK and Ireland will continue to work with governments and other partners at home and abroad to help people displaced by the war in Ukraine find the shelter, work and support they urgently need.’
