Salvation Army purple bus homelessness service

Our Bus Project homelessness outreach service is continuing to support people who are experiencing homelessness in Cardiff city centre during the #coronavirus pandemic.

The Youth Hostels Association has kindly donated 180 food parcels which we’ve distributed to people who needed our support in the Welsh capital.

The 90 supper packs we’ve been handing out contain sandwiches, a cake and tangerines while the 90 breakfast packs are made up of a cereal and a scone or a cake.

Our outreach team’s street patrol has been out meeting people who are sleeping rough in the city centre and giving them practical support and advice.

The Bus Project’s double decker bus service continues to operate from a temporary vehicle which allows our staff, volunteers and people who use the service to observe social distancing.
