3 Easy steps to write your Will for free
Making your Will makes a big difference. It’s a way to care for your loved ones after you are gone. And by including a gift to The Salvation Army, you will also be doing something meaningful for the most vulnerable and marginalised people in years to come. Gifts in Wills from people like you are responsible for around 50% of our donations, which makes our work possible.
To help you get started, we’ve partnered with MyIntent, an online Will-writing and later life planning specialist.
-
Record your intent – 20 minutes
Click ‘Start your Will online’ to register with MyIntent. Tell them about you and what you want your Will to achieve, using a mix of typed and video answers. Use the chat function if you need help.
Review your answers and edit if needed, then submit them for analysis.
-
Review your online advice – 10 minutes
MyIntent’s system will immediately analyse your answers and provide you with personalised online advice to review. You can either accept the offer of a free video appointment to discuss that advice and receive a booking link.
Or skip straight to requesting a free basic Will if that’s suitable.
-
Receive your Will for signing
If you choose a video appointment, you’ll be sent your Will by email within 48 hours of that appointment or following payment if you add any services. If you request a basic Will, the legal team will examine your answers and ID.
If everything is OK, you’ll be emailed your free Will within 5 working days
