Donations & Contact Information
We’re incredibly grateful for the continued generosity of our local community. Your support helps us make a real difference—but to do that effectively, we ask for your help with the following guidance.
Contacting Us
Our charity shop is often very busy, so please bear with us if we’re unable to answer the phone straight away.
If your call isn’t answered, feel free to leave a voicemail with:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- The nature of your query
A member of our team will return your call as soon as possible.
Alternatively, you’re very welcome to contact us by email.
Donation Drop-Offs
Please note that we do not have access to a vehicle and are unable to collect donations.
We can only accept donations between 10:00 and 15:30, when staff are available to safely receive and sort items.
Items We Accept
We are happy to accept the following items, provided they are clean and in good condition:
- Good quality clothing and shoes
- Bric-a-brac
- Non-electrical children’s toys
- Board games (complete and in good condition)
- Records
- CDs
- DVDs
- Musical instruments
Items We’re Unable to Accept
Unfortunately, we cannot take:
- Electrical items
- Furniture
- Duvets (unless brand new)
- Pillows (unless brand new)
Please Don’t Leave Donations Outside
We respectfully ask that donations are not left on the street or in our car park. Items left outside become a health hazard—wild animals often tear bags open, creating unhygienic mess that our team must clean up. Sadly, these items usually cannot be sold and must be placed in the bin, sending them to landfill and costing the charity money to dispose of.
Items left outside also attract people climbing fences and rummaging through donations, often taking items and leaving further mess behind.
All donations left outside the shop will be disposed of.
By bringing donations in during opening hours, you help ensure your generosity truly supports our work in the community. Thank you for your understanding and continued support—it really does mean the world to us.
