Stories of Christmas Joy

Hear from the people whose lives have been changed thanks to your donations

This Christmas The Salvation Army is putting belief into action, showing love where it’s needed most. We’re there for people who are experiencing homelessness, poverty or hardship, bringing warmth.

From a hot meal on a freezing night, to a Christmas present for a child who might otherwise go without – we’re here to show that love is alive, active and near.

Jason's Story

One moment changed the course of Jason's life forever. He went from having a successful career, a home and a family to losing everything after he was attacked outside his home.

The injuries he sustained led to his relationship breaking down, and after losing his home he ended up sleeping on a park bench.

Watch the video below to find out how we helped him get back on his feet.
