What’s On at Hexham Salvation Army
Tuesday – Community Lunch, 11am–1pm (Term time only)
Drop in anytime between 11am and 1pm for a warm meal, a cuppa and some company. There’s no need to book and everyone is welcome. We ask for a suggested donation of £3, but there’s no obligation to pay if money is tight. Tea, coffee and juice are also available.
Tuesday – CAMEO, 1:30pm–2:30pm (Term time only)
CAMEO is our friendly weekly group, attended mainly by adults with disabilities and additional needs, although everyone is welcome. It’s a relaxed hour of music, singing, conversation and friendship, with plenty of opportunity to join in at your own pace and just be yourself.
Friday – Play Cafe, 9:30am–11:30am (Term time only)
A relaxed and welcoming stay-and-play session for babies, toddlers and pre-school children and their grown-ups. There are toys and activities for the children, space for parents and carers to chat, and free refreshments.
£1 per child.
Sunday – Worship, 4pm
Our Sunday gathering is simple, relaxed and centred on Jesus. We spend time together around the Bible, prayer and conversation, with space for everyone to contribute and explore faith at their own pace.
Everyone is welcome at Hexham Salvation Army.
