Hadleigh Temple
Church
Hadleigh Temple Corps of The Salvation Army exists as part of the Christian Church. We have a busy programme reaching out to our local community. Everyone is welcome.
Love God Love Others is our overarching mission statement. We aim to do this as individuals and as a church family, in the community of Castlepoint and where we live, work and play. We work in close partnership with all the other Salvation Army expressions, and other agencies in the area, forming a network for sharing the good news, nurturing disciples, serving without discrimination, fighting for social justice and reconciliation, and caring for our environment.
Everything we do is led by The Holy Spirit and underpinned with prayer.
Building Refurbishment Update: Our hall will be temporarily closed for major refurbishment works from 12th August for approximately 12 weeks. From 16th August, Sunday worship will be held at the Methodist Church in Chapel Lane at 11.00am. Other activities will continue at alternative venues. Please see our website and Facebook page for updates.
Please note that the hall car park will be unavailable during this period. Full details can be found on our website. We look forward to returning to our hall on Remembrance Sunday, 8th November. Thank you for your patience and support.

WHAT'S ON IN THE WEEK
Major Building Refurbishment Programme
We are delighted to share that The Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters has agreed to invest in our building through a programme of major refurbishments and repairs.
Work will begin on 12 August and is expected to last for approximately 12 weeks. During this period, our hall will be closed while the improvements are carried out.
Sunday Worship
From Sunday 16 August, we will be joining our friends at the Methodist Church for Sunday morning worship.
Please note that this will mean a new start time of 11.00am for our Sunday worship.
Weekly Activities
Our Silver Service Club will temporarily relocate to Runnymede Hall.
All other weekly activities will either be:
- Held in the cottages or
- Hosted at the Methodist Church.
Further details about individual activities will be shared in due course.
Looking Ahead
God willing, we will return to our hall on Remembrance Sunday, 8th November.
