The Salvation Army works with some of the most vulnerable people in society. As we face a worsening financial crisis people on the margins need us now more than ever.

Our food banks, community feeding programmes and support services are seeing an increase in demand.  The Salvation Army churches all over the country are responding to the crisis in dozens of different ways.

• 10am-12pm Coffee Morning  @ "Sally's Store" at Peggotty Road Community Centre 

If you could spare an hour or two each week we have some exciting opportunities for you,  to work with our amazing volunteer team learn new skills and make a difference within your local community, by supporting our work and supporting those in the community who need it.

We always need volunteers to help and support our large Foodbank and community programme,  also we need some volunteer retail assistants in our charity shop and Community shop.

For NR30 and Cobholm residents, come and sign up to start saving on your weekly shop. We also have free fruit, veg and bread, and free short-dated or surplus items on our community shelf and in our Community Fridge.
