The Community Kitchen Volunteer role at The Salvation Army in Grays involves preparing and serving food as part of our community food provision for individuals facing challenges such as homelessness and substance misuse. Volunteers should be friendly, team-oriented, and willing to maintain food safety standards (training provided). The role supports a welcoming community space that offers food, support, and prayer to those in need. Volunteers receive training, induction, and opportunities for personal development, with flexible scheduling available following an informal application process.
