Disability Confident Leader
Disability Confident is a government scheme encouraging employers to support disabled people in the workplace. It promotes cultural change and encourages employers to take action to improve how they attract, recruit, retain and develop disabled people.
The scheme has three levels:
-
Disability Confident Committed (Level 1)
-
Disability Confident Employer (Level 2)
-
Disability Confident Leader (Level 3)
The Salvation Army is accredited as a Disability Confident Leader, promoting a positive culture and prioritising the needs of disabled people in our workplaces. This is seen through the development of our policies, processes, and in our recruitment practices through the use of reasonable adjustments.
