Comprised of a community supermarket aboard a double decker bus, and our family hub- we are The Salvation Army Canvey Island.
Our community supermarket provides subsidised groceries, events and other wrap around services to residents of Canvey Island, all aboard a big red double decker bus! With local support groups, seasonal promotions and events on our top deck, we're more than a one stop shop.
You can find 'Stuff on the Bus' every Tuesday and Friday at the following locations:
Tuesday
First Avenue - 10-11am
Ex council offices/ outpatient centre - 11:30-12:30pm
The Paddocks Centre - 2-3pm
Friday
St. Nicholas Church - 10-11am
Ex council offices/ outpatient centre - 11:30-12:30pm
Camping & General - 2-3pm
At The Salvation Army family hub on Mitchells Avenue, an exciting array of events and activities await! From brick church to story telling, all are welcome.
