Messy Church

1st Sunday of the Month 2.30pm Great fun, lots of craft, and some time to sing along why not come and join us for Messy Church?



10.30am  Pop in Coffee & Community Lunch..... Recommences on 4th Sptember after a much needed summer break.....

A great value lunch and hot drinks spoil yourself, so why not come along and enjoy a coffee and a great lunch with us at the Salvation Army Aberdare Community Church

10.30am - 12 noon Food Bank....... will be at this time until 4th September when it will change to 1.30pm - 3.00pm

Wednesday Getting To Know Your Bible Will recommence on Wednesday 5th September after summer break

Please note time change           

2.00pm Getting to know your Bible Coffee, Biscuits and a chat at 2.00pm followed at :-

           2.30pm With Bible Study Time to get to know the Bible among friends, in a warm relaxed atmosphere with plenty of time to explore our own thoughts, also time to understand the Bible



  • 9.00am - 11.30am Parent & Toddler Group....... We are looking forward to saying hello Recommences on 6th September when the children return to school

Food Bank 

We work with ASDA supermarket Aberaman and their customers to try to make a difference in the Cynon Valley we are indebted to ASDA for their support with the donations trolley in the store by the checkouts thank you for your donation of food and personal hygiene products. We are also working with the Parish of St Mary Immaculate Church as they support our efforts as we try to make a difference in the lives of people. We do thank KFC Aberdare for their continuing support of the Food Bank Aberdare. We have also begun to receive surplus food from Lidl Aberdare and we are very grateful for their food donations which are making a difference in the Cynon Valley

Tuesday 10.30am - 12noon  On the 4th September the food bank time will change and the new time will be 1.30pm - 3.00pm for the forseeable future.

Thursday 11.30am - 1.30pm
