The Breakfast+ Kitchen Volunteer role at The Salvation Army in Grays involves preparing and serving cooked breakfasts on Monday mornings for individuals facing challenges such as homelessness and substance misuse. Volunteers should be friendly, team-oriented, and willing to maintain food safety standards (training provided). The role supports a welcoming community space that offers food, support, and prayer to those in need. Volunteers receive training, induction, and opportunities for personal development, with flexible scheduling available following an informal application process.

The Breakfast+ Service Volunteer role at The Salvation Army in Grays supports a Monday morning outreach providing food, support, and prayer to individuals facing homelessness, addiction, and other challenges. Volunteers help by taking food orders, serving, preparing food parcels, assisting with laundry, and sorting clothing donations. The role requires good teamwork, communication skills, and an understanding of boundaries and safeguarding. Volunteers receive full training, induction, and development opportunities, with a flexible commitment agreed through an informal application process.
