Centre for Learning and Development

Learning and Development presents a wide variety of courses and skill-enhancing programmes for officers and employees.

Each academic year more than 1000 people take advantage of the learning and development opportunities presented to them through Learning and Development. This includes everything from 1 day courses on personnel management to diploma and degree courses.

The Learning and Development team includes people who have experience in social services, corps officership and administration.

Our courses are designed to address the learning needs of officers and employees in a variety of settings; a number are role-specific but you’ll see in the course descriptions that many are open to all.

A Learning and Development Officer (based within Learning and Development but covering specific regions of the Territory) will be able to help, in conjunction with your line manager, to identify the most suitable courses for you.

Each application for a place on a Learning and Development course is considered carefully.
