Tunbridge Wells

Every Sunday we meet for Christian worship at 10:15am, followed by tea, coffee and biscuits in our hall on Bayhall Road. Our worship includes vibrant singing, meaningful prayer and a relevant Christian message. Our worship is supported by our own choir (known as 'songsters') and a brass band. Everyone is welcome. We have a dedicated family area where children can relax and enjoy being part of our worship with their own activities while near their parents.

Sparkles -  Children and Youth Church -  11.30am -  once per month

We have no more meetings of Sparkles during the summer break. We will be holding our next Sparkles time in September. the date will be announced soon.

'Delving Deeper' -  Sunday Bible Study series - 12:15 - 1:15pm

The next Sunday Study Series will be held on Sundays 27th September, 4th and 11th October 2026.The group will meet at 12.15pm in the lounge area and will be examining some of the hard sayings by Jesus.

Sunday 27th September

Sunday 4 October

• Not one jot or one tittle (Matthew 5:17-20)

Our weekly programme seeks to reflect our Christian faith during the week. We offer programmes and activities for the whole community.

We have now entered our summer recess period. 

There are now no weekday programmes planned for the next weeks. 

We recommence the normal weekly programmes as below

Tuesday

• 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Knit & Natter
• 8:15 PM - 10:00 PM  Band (Brass) Rehearsal

Wednesday  (term time only)

• 10:30 AM  Crafts and Coffee Morning
• 12:30 PM  Luncheon Club (£5 for a 2-course meal)

Thursday (term time only)

• 9:45 AM - 11:30 AM  Sale of second hand goods, Drop-in and Coffee Morning.
• 12:30 PM Luncheon Club (£5 for a 2-course meal)

Both luncheon clubs cater for the community and would welcome you to enjoy friendship and a hearty, freshly-cooked, two course meal.

• 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM Songster (Choir) Practice

Friday (term time only) -  Sparkles Toddler Group

• This group is now closed for the summer. Sparkles will return on Friday 4 September at 10am-11.30am.
                

Throughout the week The Salvation Army's papers (The War Cry, Young Soldier) are sold in:

Sevenoaks (Wednesday)
Tonbridge (Friday/Saturday)
Tunbridge Wells (Friday)
and in the Public Houses of Tunbridge Wells on Friday & Saturday evenings.

The Salvation Army works with some of the most vulnerable people in society. As we face the cost of living crisis, people on the margins need us now more than ever.

From providing practical support to the local community and checking up on people who live alone, to offering counselling, support and chaplaincy to NHS workers and retail workers, The Salvation Army in Royal Tunbridge Wells is supporting our local community.

Clothing donations can be deposited at the designated space in our car park.
We are also able to accept donations of clothing, shoes, bric-a-brac, books, CDs and DVDs. These can be delivered to our church by appointment. 
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept furniture. We can sign-post you to other local organisations who accept these donations. 
We do not accept electrical items or duvets/pillows. 
We are unable to collect donations.

The day will include a Harvest 'Supper' in aid of raising monies for a new well to be built in Bangladesh following our time of morning worship.

An evening of brass band music using show tunes - with the bands of Tunbridge Wells and Croydon Salvation Army churches.

An important time for reflecting on our responsibility to 'Be As Christ' in our world and through our circumstances.

The day is led by Mike and Joan Parker, retired Salvation Army officers having had a world-wide ministry and leadership experience.

The days begins with coffee at 10am and finishing with worship at 4pm.
