Tunbridge Wells

Every Sunday we meet at 10:15 AM for Christian worship, followed by tea, coffee and biscuits in our hall on Bayhall Road. Our worship includes a brass band, vibrant singing, meaningful prayer and a powerful Christian message. Everyone is welcome. During our worship time we have a dedicated family area where children can relax and enjoy being part of our worship and do some of their own activities while near their parents.

Our Sparkles Church for young families meets every month at 11:30am til 12.3pm. The  the next meetings are on:

               Sunday 18th January- 

               Sunday 8 February

               Sunday 22 February  (with Youth group 11.45am -1pm - from year 7)

               Sunday 8 March  (with Youth Group)

               Sunday 22 March (with Youth Group and Easter Egg Hunt- (at noon-1pm

Our weekly programme reflects our Christian faith during the week. We offer programmes and activities for the whole community.

Tuesday

• 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Knit & Natter
• 8:15 PM - 10:00 PM  Band (Brass) Rehearsal

Wednesday

• 10:30 AM Day Centre, Crafts and Coffee Morning
• 12:30 PM Luncheon Club (£5 for a 2-course meal)

Thursday

• 9:45 AM - 11:30 AM Day Centre Drop in, Coffee Morning & Sale of second hand goods sale
• New venture at 10am - learn how to cook simple and hearty winter soups and stews in 'Nourish and Stir'
• 12:30 PM Luncheon Club (£5 for a 2-course meal)

Both luncheon clubs cater for people from the community and we would welcome you to enjoy friendship and a good two course meal.

• 6:45 PM - 7:45 PM Bible Discussion Group (term-time only)
• 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM Songster (Choir) Practice

Friday

• 9:15 AM Sparkles Parent & Toddler Group
  This group is currently able to admit new families. There is a suggested donation of £20 for term time meetings)
                

Throughout the week The Salvation Army's papers (War Cry) are sold in:

Sevenoaks (Wednesday)
Tonbridge (Friday/Saturday)
Tunbridge Wells (Friday)
and in the Public Houses of Tunbridge Wells on Friday & Saturday evenings.

The Salvation Army works with some of the most vulnerable people in society. As we face the cost of living crisis, people on the margins need us now more than ever.

From providing practical support to the local community and checking up on people who live alone, to offering counselling, support and chaplaincy to NHS workers and retail workers, The Salvation Army in Royal Tunbridge Wells is supporting our local community.

Clothing donations can be deposited at the designated space in our car park.
We are also able to accept donations of clothing, shoes, bric-a-brac, books, CDs and DVDs. These can be delivered to our church by appointment. 
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept furniture. We can sign-post you to other local organisations who accept these donations. 
We do not accept electrical items or duvets/pillows. 
We are unable to collect donations.
