The Salvation Army works with some of the most vulnerable people in society. As we face this current economic crisis, people on the margins need us now more than ever.

From running food banks and checking up on people who live alone, to offering counselling,  Salvation Army churches all over the country are responding to the crisis in dozens of different ways.

As a faith community we want to be actively involved in our local community. We are striving to have our doors open as often as possible in order that we can be available to anyone and everyone in the area who may need us. We continue to seek ways in which we can develop ministries that can be of service to our community.

Food Shed

This is outside our building and available for anyone who needs food. The food comes from Supermarkets that would otherwise be sending it to landfill.  It varies as to what is available at the time of pick up.

We currently have a restriction  of 5 items per person, due to the shortage of food being available.

The shed is opened sometime before 7am & 9am and remains open until early evening, or when the food has all gone.

Please be kind to others if you use the shed - and only one person in shed at a time if possible.
