Support our work this Christmas

This Christmas, we’re bringing hope, joy and comfort to those who need it most. 

These are tough times for many people. Parents who are dreading Christmas because they can't afford food, let alone presents for their kids. Older and vulnerable people who face Christmas feeling isolated and forgotten. People who are homeless and enduring cold nights on the streets. 

That’s why, in 600 communities across the UK, The Salvation Army will be doing all we can to make Christmas special for people in desperate need, whatever their circumstances.

This Christmas we’ll be providing supported accommodation to thousands of people experiencing homelessness. We’ll be organising festive lunches for people who would otherwise be spending Christmas alone, delivering gifts for children whose parents cannot afford presents and distributing food parcels to people facing dire hardship. 

To do all this, we need your help. Please support our Christmas Appeal so we can provide food, shelter, companionship and festive cheer for people in need this winter. 

A gift of: 

• £9 could contribute towards one-to-one support work for a homeless person in one of our centres.
• £19 could help provide a box of groceries and modest gifts so that families struggling in poverty can share a basic Christmas meal together.
• £45 could provide a Christmas dinner, a small gift and the promise of companionship for six lonely older or vulnerable people.
