Support our work this Christmas
This Christmas, we want to reach out to the people who are suffering the most by bringing joy and hope into their lives.
We know times are tough for many people, and families will struggle to feed and clothe their children. There will be some people struggling to keep a roof over their heads and others who will find themselves on cold and dangerous streets. In 600 communities across the country, The Salvation Army will be doing all we can for people in desperate need, whatever their circumstances.
At The Salvation Army we offer compassion and practical help to vulnerable people going through difficult times.
This Christmas, we are reducing, preventing and helping to end homelessness. We offer accommodation to those in need, companionship to lonely older people and provide groceries so struggling families can feed their children.
Please support our Christmas Appeal so we can provide hot food, practical support and somewhere warm to sleep for some of the most vulnerable people.
A gift of:
- £9 could contribute towards one-to-one support for someone in our Lifehouses – centres for people who are experiencing homelessness.
- £19 could contribute towards a box of groceries and modest gifts so that families struggling in poverty can share a basic Christmas meal together.
- £45 could provide a Christmas dinner and the promise of companionship for five lonely older people.
