Sunderland Citadel is a very welcoming church, with a multinational and multicultural fellowship. We embrace many styles, encouraging contemporary and traditional presentations of Sunday Worship.
Our Church benefits from both a Band and Songsters (Choir) in worship, helping to proclaim the good news in many different ways, where we also help to embrace the multi media age, through presentations, digital outreach and more . We strive to make worship and our weekly activities accessible for you!
This Christmas, thousands of people in our communities are facing poverty, homelessness and isolation.
Families are wondering how they’ll get through the week. Older people are going days on end without hearing another voice. Young people have nowhere safe to call home.
That’s why we’re here.
The Salvation Army Sunderland Citadel has been serving the community for over 100 years, alongside our partners across the city. This year will be no different in supporting families who are most in need this Christmas.
