The Salvation Army works with some of the most vulnerable people in society. As we face the worst public health crisis in our lifetime, people on the margins need us now more than ever.
From running food banks and checking up on people who live alone, to offering counselling and supporting NHS isolation units, Salvation Army churches all over the country are responding to the crisis in dozens of different ways.
At present, all weekday activities have been suspended. We have had to close our No 10 drop-in centre due to advice from the Government and NHS. Instead we are supporting St Anne's as they support vulnerable people.
Every week at The Salvation Army Regent Hall there is always something happening - from weekend worship services, social events, bible studies, rehearsals, or just relaxing in The Oasis Café.

The Bookshop ceased trading at the end of January 2020 in order to start the re-purposing of the space for its exciting new future as the new Welcome and Advice Hub.
This space will offer a warm welcome, a professional Information Advice and Guidance Service and support pathways to faith and spirituality.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the Bookshop over the years and we look forward to welcoming you to our Welcome and Advice Hub in the coming months.

The Salvation Army Regent Hall believes passionately in the power of prayer. As a faith community we are committed to spending time in corporate prayer and individually spending time in conversation with God alone.
Each Thursday at 11am we gather for a time of prayer and reflection in the main auditorium. Prayer is also regular feature in our weekend worship services. Throughout the year we also participate in the global 24/7 prayer initiative.
Making Prayer Requests
As a community of faith we like to support our local community through prayer. In the Oasis Cafe, you will find a prayer box in which anyone is welcome to place a prayer request. Each prayer request made will be prayed by a member of The Salvation Army Regent Hall.
