How to pay your fundraising in
Thank you for raising funds to support our vital work with people in need. Here’s how to make sure your sponsorship reaches us.
You should make these payable to The Salvation Army. Please mark them clearly with your name and the name of your event on the reverse and send them, along with your money return form and any completed sponsor forms, to:

Virgin Money Giving and JustGiving pay any money you raise through their sites over to us weekly. If you want your money to go to a certain project please do get in touch with the events team so this can be allocated.
Please do not send cash in the post. If people have given you cash donations, you can:
- make a card payment over the phone for the equivalent amount
- send a cheque for the equivalent amount
- add the equivalent amount to your online fundraising page
You can pay in your sponsorship money by credit or debit card by calling us on 020 7367 4819.
Employer matched giving
Some employers operate a matched giving scheme where they will match what an employee raises £ for £ or up to an agreed amount. If you’ve asked your company about this and they’ve agreed to sponsor you, please let us know and if you haven’t, now’s a great time.
To make sure their donation goes to your fundraising total please could you let us know:
- the name of your company
- how much they’re donating
- how they’ll be paying
- when they’ll be paying
