The local community is invited to celebrate summer at a free family-friendly event at The Salvation Army’s Leicester West Corps on Saturday, 26 July, from 10am to 1:30pm at 330 Aikman Avenue, New Parks, Leicester, LE3 9PW.

There will be a wide range of activities, food and drinks, a lively brass band, charity shop deals, café space, cake and treats, engaging stalls, and much more.

“The Summer Fayre is a highlight in our calendar. It’s an opportunity to celebrate summer, bring the community together, and enjoy an uplifting day of connection and fun. It’s also about creating a joyful space where everyone can feel welcome, enjoy themselves, and access the support and warmth of our community.

Whether you’re a long-time local or newly arrived in New Parks, the Summer Fayre is a chance to connect, relax, and enjoy some wholesome summer fun."
