Hop into Spring at a fun-filled Easter day for families in Nottingham
published on 31 Mar 2026
Families are invited to celebrate the joy of Easter with an afternoon packed full of colour, creativity and community spirit, as The Salvation Army hosts an exciting Easter Fun Day at Arkwright Walk.
Taking place on Wednesday 1 April from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, the event offers a fun-packed afternoon for children, featuring an Easter trail, games, crafts and cake decorating, all designed to spark creativity and bring families together.
Children can also get creative in an Easter basket design competition, while an Easter stone hunt from 1.30pm in the surrounding area gives them the chance to win small prizes.
Filled with fun and Easter surprises, the event creates a welcoming space for families to come together and enjoy quality time. Children should be accompanied by an adult, ensuring it’s a shared experience for everyone.
Parents and carers are encouraged to join in the activities alongside their children, making it a shared family experience rather than just an event for kids, whether that means getting stuck into crafts, enjoying games, or simply taking the opportunity to connect with other local families while sharing an afternoon full of smiles, creativity and togetherness.
