Sundays

The meeting takes place in our upstairs worship hall (lift access for those who find stairs difficult) and is usually led by our Commanding Officer, Major Gareth Dickens.  It will feature amongst other things a Bible Message, Prayers and lively singing.  Music is a mixture of traditional hymns (usually accompanied by our Brass Band) and contemporary worship songs.

On a typical Sunday our congregation spans an age range from 3 to 93 and includes people who are men, women, children, parents, grandparents, single, married, widowed, students, unemployed, working - in short people like you!  Some wear Salvation Army uniform and some don't, some have been coming for many years and others for just a short time but everyone is made to feel welcome and at home.  Come and find out for yourself!
